D.O.C.’s work since 1993 has spanned sites and scales, from a loft in Manhattan to a new country house in rural Georgia, to neighborhood businesses and warehouse revitalizations. The following projects are a sample of that work. Design issues addressed move seamlessly from the context of an urban neighborhood down to the smallest details in a space’s construction and furnishing. In all of these projects, a commitment to creating spaces and that work for people first pervades. Social flows, building performance, and a sensitivity to the site’s unique assets combine to create unique places.
